The Community Safety & Youth Empowerment Initiative is a youth violence prevention and development program designed to provide mentorship, trauma-informed support, workforce readiness training, and financial literacy education to youth ages 13–18 in communities impacted by gun violence.
Youth exposed to violence often experience trauma, grief, and limited access to positive opportunities that support long-term success. This initiative provides a safe and supportive environment where young people can build resilience, develop leadership skills, and gain practical tools that help them make positive life decisions.
Through a structured series of group counseling sessions, mentorship engagement, and career readiness workshops, program will serve 50–100 youth over a 3–4-month pilot program.
